When I was growing up I found many issues during my primary and secondary education; this lead me to fight for my rights. My school came to me to rewrite their "Transgender Equality" policy. I started to collect policies from all over my local area and then fixed and updated them; this lead to schools automatically sending me their policies - that area I covered grew and grew.
After a while I started doing YouTube videos - Prides and schools noticed this. I started getting requests to talk in assemblies and at pride events.
How I Got My Name Out There
I started with making a name, I choose "HannahPhillipsReal"; Why? you may ask. Well Hannah Phillips is my name and I felt that the word "Real" would show visibility for the transgender community. After I got the name I went on all the main social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube)and made accounts using my name. Doing this made people that I met could find me easily. After this I contacted colleges to see if they wanted teacher training - once accepted they shared my contacts to more and more colleges. I then started moving on to hospitals and primary schools. I finally worked out that what I did made me happy because I was making others happy. I choose to do what I do on a national scale!
I started growing as a huge name in the LGBT+ community towards the middle of 2016. By September of 2016 my policy for equality for the transgender community was well known all over the UK in schools and colleges. I was growing rapidly and I had the idea of the word "REAL" having a real meaning - I came up with the acronym Representative of Equality , Acceptance and Love.
